| Syed Mohsin Naqvi was born in 1955 at Dera Ghazi Khan. He was a great Urdu language poet of Pakistan. It is judged that he have been murdered on 15 January 1996 in Village Sadat, Dera Ghazi Khan. He completed his Graduation from Govt. College Bosan Road Multan. The top secret of his life is that his real name was Ghulam Abbas. Naqvi did his masters from University of the Punjab Lahore. Before his entrance at Lahore he was renowned as Mohsin Naqvi. He was also acknowledged as the Poet of Ahl al-Bayt. His poetry is admired and recited all over World especially in Asia.
